Keedysville Water Commission

The monthly meeting of the Keedysville Water Commission was called to order at 8:55 pm, with the following members present: Commission Chairman Barry Levey, Commission Members Matt Hull, Richard Walton and Victoria Gudeman and Town Administrator Rick Bishop.

Minutes from March 1, 2010 were read and approved.

Minutes from April 5, 2010 were read and approved.

Treasurer's report was as follows: $10,549.59.

Commission Chairman Levey noted the Public Hearing for a water rate increase to cover costs for the Water Infrastructure Upgrade.. He noted that the initial increase will be $25.00 per quarter. At the end of construction, approximately $15.00 will be added to quarterly bills. He also gave updates on the infrastructure upgrade.

Replacing a section of the water line on Taylor Dr. was mentioned.

Hook-up fees for new residences were discussed.

The Meeting was adjourned at 9:15pm.
