Keedysville Planning and Zoning

March 10, 2008 7:00 P.M.

Attending members: Tim Robertson, Randy Burns, Don Weigel, Tony Crist, and Matt Hull

Also attending: Martin Bucher, Frank Bond, Jim Ketler

Minutes from February's meeting were read and approved.

Old Business:

1. Dr. Guedenet's request for a rezoning of his property is being addressed. Amy is in the process of coordinating a public hearing.
2. Representatives from Ketler Brothers were present to update the town on the progress of the development. Among the discussion were three issues that were resolved:
   1. Motion was made by Tim to approve and overall paved road width of 24', (12' per lane), on all roads in the development, including cul-de-sacs, with sidewalks placed on one side of each road, and around cul-de-sacs. Seconded by Randy. The motion was passed with Don as the only no vote.
   2. Motion was made by Don to extend active preliminary approval for this project from the date of this meeting for one year. Seconded by Tim. All in favor-the motion passed.
   3. Motion was made by Tim to accept the widening of Coffman Farms Road to 20' with 4'shoulders and deceleration lanes. Seconded by Don. All in favor-the motion passed.

There was no new business.
