Minutes from the June meeting were read and approved.

Old Business: Tim has been unable to reach Tony Crist. Tim will keep trying.

The Comprehensive Plan will be updated in the future. Tim is asking committee members to check their copies and begin an overview for changes.

Frank Bond was here to discuss the waste water treatment pumping station. He was approached by Washington County to build one that is larger and better for the future. Discussion was held regarding a 12' x 18' building on Lot #53, capacity rates now, above ground prefab building, slab foundation, 6' chain link fence, access asphalt road off Rt. 34, and state blessing (Bob Roan contact). Frank Bond also wanted to know who would control the storm water management pond if the HOA fails. Tim will look into Rockingham's situation. The old station will stay in use for Cannon Ridge. Article 2 of the Zoning Ordinances refers to essential utility provisions. A motion was made by Tim to grant a special exception in suburban residential for construction of a sewer pumping station as long as all set backs are met and access under table #305 essential utility. Don seconded, all agreed.

Brian Brandt (240.313.2609) was present from Washington County to discuss areas the Town owns that could be a placement for a wireless tower system that is needed in this part of the county. Discussion was held regarding the highest possible placement for a tower, improvements to the 911 system, and widening of Taylor Drive.

Meeting adjourned at 7:50 PM.
