The minutes from April's meeting were read and approved.

Old Business: The Comprehensive Plan was sent to Boonsboro and Sharpsburg around March 27th and they have 60 days to review it. In June's P & Z meeting we will check it and then recommended it to the Town Council in their July meeting.

John and Jamie Burtner were present to explain that the Burtner Plat is a simple straightening of property lines, that they are not making a subdivision. It will affect only John and Jamie. Randy made a motion to accept the plat and Don seconded. All agreed. Tim will advise Town Council.

New Business: Paul and Rene Black, 28 Turkey Tract Lane, want a permit for a deck. There was no drawing or HOA approval. This is being tabled until we have more information.

Stephanie Andrews, 11 Appomatox Court, wants a permit for a concrete patio, 42' X 20', in Cannon Ridge. She has HOA approval. The footers are 30" deep. The Committee found no problem with the drawings and will advise Rick to issue the permit.

Charles Greene, 18 Bedrock Lane, wants a permit for a chain link dog fence, 15' X 25' behind his shed. It will be 6' in height in his back yard. He was advised to make sure that it was not on the property line and approximately 4" on his side.

Dave had a question about a Dan Ryan request for a pool with possible grading problems near a storm water pond. More info is needed.

Shannon French wants a copy of the Zoning Appeals decision for Brian and Linda Smith. She was advised to get a copy from Rick.

Dave Bajuscak has indicated an interest in serving on the Planning and Zoning Board.

The purpose of a Comprehensive Plan was briefly explained to those who have not been present at the meetings.
