Keedysville Planning and Zoning

The minutes from March's meeting were read and approved.

Old Business: The permit that Fred and Cissy Slick wanted for 23 Bedrock Lane was issued by Rick. The excavator was able to provide proof of a Maryland license, the final prerequisite for the permit.

The Board of Zoning Appeals is requesting an opinion letter for the hearing for Brian and Linda Smith. The letter will address the 4 parking spaces and the historic district overlay.

Rick has been able to extend the Comprehensive Plan time frame. Boonsboro and Sharpsburg need time to check out our plan. They have 60 days to review the plan from the time they received it.

FNew Business: Phil Rhoderick, 86-88 S. Main Street, was present at this meeting to request a permit to build a house at # 86 S. Main Street. The Committee looked at the plans and set backs. They had no problems and will advise Rick to issue the permit. Matt or Brian Smith will do the inspections in place of Phil.

Meeting adjourned at 7:24 PM.

Following this meeting was a continuation of last month's Public Hearing for the new Comprehensive Plan. No citizens were present for this meeting.
