Keedysville Town Council

September 2, 2008

The monthly meeting of the Keedysville Town Council was opened with the following members present: Asst Mayor Levey, Council Members, Brumage, Smith, Walton and Town Administrator Simmons.

Minutes were read and approved.

The treasurer's report was as follows: $162,251.22

Sidewalk work at Town Hall is 95% complete. Project should be wrapped up by weeks end.

Problems at the North end of Town still exist and escalated over the Labor Day holiday. A few residents were present to share frustrations and event #'s they received from Sheriff's Department.

The Town with the help of Kuczynski was able to cash in on the original letter of credit for Stonecrest the amount was $75,000. The Town will hold on to the monies as advised by Town Attorney.

A proposal for a concept plan for ground work on the park field was received. Work on plan will move forward.
