Keedysville Town Council

September 6, 2007

The monthly meeting of the Keedysville Town Council was opened with the following members present: Mayor Hull, Asst. Mayor Levey Council Members Robertson, Walton and Town Administrator Simmons.

Minutes were read and approved.

The treasurer's report was as follows: $321,589.36

Mayor Hull gave an update regarding the completion of the Park project. Lights have been ordered and when they arrive and are installed the project will then be complete. Sidewalks will be placed on hold until spring of next year.

Barry Levey update on NO Parking issues, and advised that David Brumage continues to work with the state to document and correct all no parking zones.

Donna Brightman spoke to Mayor Hull regarding the possibility of the residents of Cannon Ridge attending the new elementary school Rock Dale located on the Sharpsburg Pike RT. 65.

Council members were reminded that current Refuse Collection contract would expire in January 08. Current contractor is currently interested in re-biding.

Bulk pick-up for residents was approved and pick up will be Saturday the 13th of November.

The police patrols that are apart of the OT have been very successful and will continue.
