Keedysville Town Council

November 5, 2007

The monthly meeting of the Keedysville Town Council was opened with the following members present: Mayor Hull, Council Members Brumage, Robertson, Walton and Town Administrator Simmons.

Minutes were read and approved.

The treasurer's report was as follows: $320,458.36

Mayor Hull gave an update regarding the Park project. Project has been complete and reimbursements funds have been applied for.

David Brumage continues to work on No Parking Zone corrections and updates with the State.

Town resident Shannon French was present to recommend to the Mayor and Council a proposed policy for Zoning Administrator. Mrs. French requested that the Mayor and Council consider instituting a policy for the Zoning Administrator in an effort to provide unbiased zoning decisions and/or actions and to protect the taxpayers of the town from potential legal risk. Mrs. French's proposal will be place into record as well as a letter written by resident Tom Clemens.
