Keedysville Town Council

May 5, 2008

The monthly meeting of the Keedysville Town Council was opened with the following members present: Mayor Hull, Asst Mayor Levey, Council Members, Brumage, Robertson, Walton and Town Administrator Simmons.

Minutes were read and approved.

The treasurer's report was as follows: $292,385.70

Quotes for work needed to repair existing bathroom in old bank and bring into ADA compliance were reviewed, Bryan Smith of Smith Renovations submitted 3 quotes for various work. Motion was made by Barry Levey and 2nd by Mary Robertson, all agreed motion passed.

Zoning Text Amendment regarding 21 Wyand Drive was reviewed. A petition with 99 signatures from residents was received and reviewed. Petition will be placed into the public record of hearing. After much discussion with attendees and Council, David Brumage made a motion to table issue, Richard Walton 2nd all agreed.

Election results were given, Robert Smith of 8 N. Main won election with 2 votes. Mr. Smith will take over in June .

Review of police OT was done, and information was given the Dep. Cain's radar unit had arrived.
