Keedysville Town Council

July 6, 2009

The monthly meeting of the Keedysville Town Council was opened with the following members present: Mayor Hull, Asst. Mayor Levey, council members David Brumage, Rob Smith, Richard Walton and Town Administrator Simmons.

Minutes were read and approved.

The treasurer's report was as follows: $127,247.27

Parks & Playground equipment has been shipped; installation should be started sometime this month.

The budget for FY 2010 was introduced and a motion was made by Barry Levey and 2nd by Richard Walton to accept budget as presented.

A donation request was presented by Fairview Cemetery and a motion was made by Barry Levey to donate $300. motion was 2nd David Brumage. All agreed motion passed.

A donation request was presented by Boonsboro High School for a request for their visitor locker rooms; a motion was made by David Brumage to donate $250. and 2nd by Barry Levey, motion passed all agreed.

Announcements were made a reminder was given that the P&Z would be holding a public hearing on Monday July 13th and again on Monday, August 10 to review a draft of the Comprehensive Plan.

No further business to discuss. Meeting adjourned.
