Keedysville Town Council

August 6, 2007

The monthly meeting of the Keedysville Town Council was opened with the following members present: Mayor Hull, Asst. Mayor Levey Council Members Brumage, Robertson, Walton and Town Administrator Simmons.

Minutes were read and approved.

The treasurer's report was as follows: $342,785.36

David Brumage gave update on NO Parking issues. David continues to work with the state to document and correct all no parking zones. Areas will then be marked according.

Mary Robertson gave a brief review of current New Town Hall ideas Mary also made a motion to add Town resident Patricia Barber to the new town hall committee. Richard Walton 2nd all agreed.

Steve Palmer from the Outdoors Sports Program. He notified the Town that he would be starting to clear old trees an clean up the youth fishing area located at the South end of Town.

The Town of Boonsboro will be holding a Night Out Against Crime and requested that other local towns not holding their own celebration contribute a small donation. Barry Levey made a motion to donate $100 to Boonsboro, Richard Walton 2nd all agreed. Motion passed.
