Historical Society
On Monday, March 15 at 7 p.m. at the Keedysville Library, the Keedysville Historical Society will host JENNIE AVILA, a Hagerstown based singer songwriter who has performed nationally w/ various famous singers and actors. She will be playing a selection of her songs from her new CD, "The Special 150th Anniversary Edition of Civil War Stories in Song" which was inspired by true Civil War stories from the Antietam Battlefield region and is sponsored by the Hagerstown-Washington Co. Convention and Visitors Bureau. A wonderful program for Civil War buffs, folks interested in local history and everyone who loves a good story. Light refreshments will be served and copies of the CD will be available for purchase. Come and bring a friend and enjoy the music.
